Life is made up of a series of relationships with family, friends, significant others, co-workers and more. Sometimes these relationships can be tough to navigate, leaving us thinking, “Wow, this is not the way I thought my life would be…”
It is my goal to help you experience your full potential and the full potential of your relationships. By creating a deeper understanding of ourselves we create the foundation for better relationships. I believe awareness creates compassion, which in turn leads to connection.
Whether your goals are personal or professional, I would be delighted to be a part of your journey. I offer Counseling and Coaching services to help you set and achieve the goals that help you thrive in all facets of life.
Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for a complimentary phone consultation. Daytime and Evening appointments are available.
About Hilary Phillips:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and a certified PREPARE/ENRICH Counselor. In 2007 I founded Connections Counseling & Development Center, a private practice in Atlanta, GA. I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University.
Prior to entering the field of counseling I spent 15 years in the corporate world – primarily as an Online Marketing Manager for BellSouth. I have used this rich experience to help clients improve communication and interpersonal skills, identify & solve problems, and manage change.
I have provided counseling services to individuals, groups, couples, and families in a variety of settings including Odyssey Family Counseling Center and the Career Center at Oglethorpe University. I have worked with clients in a state-funded Alcohol and Drug Treatment program, and have extensive experience with Leadership Development, Conflict Resolution and various mental health issues.
I am a member of the American Counseling Association, the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia, and the American Association of Sexuality Educators Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
On a personal note I live in Atlanta, Georgia with my patient, supportive husband and two never-a-dull-moment sons. When there is free time I love to travel, read, and explore Atlanta restaurants.
